MPower will be closed Mon, Sep 1, 2025 for Labor Day.
Welcome to MPower, an agency developed to meet the Targeted Case Management needs of Individuals with developmental disabilities in Pettis, Saline, Lafayette, and Benton Counties. At MPower, we have dedicated ourselves to providing the highest quality case management services available in Central Missouri. We believe that the individuals we serve deserve an advocate that is highly trained, well-educated on the latest trends and highly motivated to assist people in navigating the intricate systems of State and Federal funding sources and the growing list of qualified providers.
Empowering people to manage the direction of their life.
We are committed to the belief that promoting an individual’s hopes, wants and dreams is the first step to achieving self-determination.
We believe in you, we believe in your hopes, wants, and dreams. We believe that when you are “MPowered” to make your own choices and have the proper supports, then you have the greatest potential for success. It is our pleasure to walk beside you.
Please call or email your Service Coordinator before coming to our physical location.

As the summer days begin to wind down and back-to-school season approaches, August reminds us of the importance of preparation, wellness, and community connection.
At MPower, we are committed to supporting individuals and families through every season of life. With August marking Children’s Eye Health and Safety month, it’s a great time to ensure children are ready to return to school, physically, emotionally, and socially. Vision screenings, updated immunizations, and a sense of routine all help set our kids up for success. If you or someone you serve needs assistance with accessing these resources, please reach out to your Service Coordinator. We’re here to help.
August is also National Wellness Month, encouraging us all to prioritize physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Whether it’s taking a walk, connecting with a friend, or checking in on your health goals, every small step contributes to a healthier you. For our older community members, National Senior Citizens Day on August 21st is a time to honor their wisdom and contributions. We encourage everyone to take a moment to reach out to the seniors in your life and community.
Friendship Day (August 4th) and Purple Heart Day (August 7th) remind us of the value of relationships and service. Let us continue to build a culture of gratitude, respect, and connection, not just within our teams but in the communities we serve.
Thank you, as always, for your dedication to our mission. Whether you are coordinating services, supporting families, or advocating for those with developmental disabilities, your work is meaningful and deeply appreciated.
Wishing you a safe, healthy, and hopeful August.
Warm regards,
Katharine Robershaw
