MPower will be closed Mon, Sep 1, 2025 for Labor Day.
Welcome to MPower, an agency developed to meet the Targeted Case Management needs of Individuals with developmental disabilities in Pettis, Saline, Lafayette, and Benton Counties. At MPower, we have dedicated ourselves to providing the highest quality case management services available in Central Missouri. We believe that the individuals we serve deserve an advocate that is highly trained, well-educated on the latest trends and highly motivated to assist people in navigating the intricate systems of State and Federal funding sources and the growing list of qualified providers.
Empowering people to manage the direction of their life.
We are committed to the belief that promoting an individual’s hopes, wants and dreams is the first step to achieving self-determination.
We believe in you, we believe in your hopes, wants, and dreams. We believe that when you are “MPowered” to make your own choices and have the proper supports, then you have the greatest potential for success. It is our pleasure to walk beside you.
MPower is completing a community needs assessment. The survey will help identify the most important needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Pettis County. Your input will guide how local tax levy funds are used to improve services and supports.
Please call or email your Service Coordinator before coming to our physical location.

As the seasons change and the autumn air settles in, I’m reminded how important it is to pause and check in with ourselves and one another. Emotional wellness is just as vital as physical health, especially for the individuals and families we serve. Taking time for self-care, asking for help when needed, and leaning on supportive relationships are all ways we can nurture resilience. Our team at MPower remains committed to walking alongside you, providing not just case management but also encouragement and understanding.
With Halloween right around the corner, this is also a good time to talk about safety. Trick-or-treating is a joyful tradition, but we encourage everyone to plan ahead to make it safe and enjoyable for all:
· Walk in well lit areas and use reflective tape or glow sticks to stay visible.
· Check costumes to ensure they don’t obstruct vision or create tripping hazards.
· For families we support, consider sensory-friendly options like “trunk or treat” events or smaller group activities that reduce overstimulation.
· Check all treats before enjoying them.
Whether you’re celebrating Halloween or simply soaking up the crisp fall evenings, I hope you also find moments to invest in your emotional wellness. Together, we can create safe, supportive communities where everyone feels valued and included.
Warmly,
Katharine Robershaw
