MPower will be closed November 27th, & 28th, 2025 for Thanksgiving Holiday.
Welcome to MPower, an agency developed to meet the Targeted Case Management needs of Individuals with developmental disabilities in Pettis, Saline, Lafayette, and Benton Counties. At MPower, we have dedicated ourselves to providing the highest quality case management services available in Central Missouri. We believe that the individuals we serve deserve an advocate that is highly trained, well-educated on the latest trends and highly motivated to assist people in navigating the intricate systems of State and Federal funding sources and the growing list of qualified providers.
Empowering people to manage the direction of their life.
We are committed to the belief that promoting an individual’s hopes, wants and dreams is the first step to achieving self-determination.
We believe in you, we believe in your hopes, wants, and dreams. We believe that when you are “MPowered” to make your own choices and have the proper supports, then you have the greatest potential for success. It is our pleasure to walk beside you.
MPower is completing a community needs assessment. The survey will help identify the most important needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Pettis County. Your input will guide how local tax levy funds are used to improve services and supports.

As we welcome a new year, I want to begin by thanking our staff, providers, partners, and the individuals and families we serve for the trust you place in us every day. As a Missouri SB40 organization providing targeted case management, our mission remains clear: to support individuals with developmental disabilities in living full, self-directed lives within their communities. The start of a new year offers a meaningful opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come and to recommit ourselves to the values that guide our work—dignity, inclusion, accountability, and compassion.
The New Year is often associated with fresh starts and renewed purpose. For our organization, that means continuing to strengthen person-centered planning, enhancing collaboration with community partners, and supporting our case managers as they navigate an increasingly complex service system. We are focused on thoughtful growth, continuous improvement, and ensuring our services remain responsive to the needs and goals of the people we serve across Missouri.
January is also National Blood Donor Month, a timely reminder of the importance of community care and collective responsibility. Blood donations save lives every day, including the lives of individuals with disabilities who may require medical procedures or ongoing healthcare support. Winter months often bring critical blood shortages, and even a single donation can make a significant difference. I encourage those who are able to consider donating blood as a tangible way to support the health and well-being of our broader community.
As we move into this new year, I am inspired by the dedication and professionalism of our team and the resilience of the individuals and families we serve. Together, we will continue advocating, coordinating, and caring—ensuring that people with developmental disabilities have access to the supports they need to thrive.
Thank you for being part of our mission. I wish you a healthy, hopeful, and fulfilling New Year.
With gratitude,
Katharine Robershaw
