MPower will be closed July 4th, 2024 for National Holiday.
Welcome to MPower, an agency developed to meet the Targeted Case Management needs of Individuals with developmental disabilities in Pettis, Saline, Lafayette, and Benton Counties. At MPower, we have dedicated ourselves to providing the highest quality case management services available in Central Missouri. We believe that the individuals we serve deserve an advocate that is highly trained, well-educated on the latest trends and highly motivated to assist people in navigating the intricate systems of State and Federal funding sources and the growing list of qualified providers.
Empowering people to manage the direction of their life.
We are committed to the belief that promoting an individual’s hopes, wants and dreams is the first step to achieving self-determination.
We believe in you, we believe in your hopes, wants, and dreams. We believe that when you are “MPowered” to make your own choices and have the proper supports, then you have the greatest potential for success. It is our pleasure to walk beside you.

Integrity
I was recently at a social event and heard one of the attendees state that the definition of morality was doing the right thing even when no one is looking. Morality isn’t correct, it’s integrity, but I didn’t correct him because it wasn’t the time or the place. Morality is a system of values and principles of conduct. Integrity is the adherence to that system. This can be achieved by being held accountable by one’s peers or by an internal drive or code we know as integrity. My goal in this exercise is not to be preachy or come off as the word police, but rather to point out the difference so I can highlight, or brag, about the people that make Mpower a great organization. Pettis Counties was one of three counties in the state that piloted the TCM (Targeted Case Management) program. That was 1996, and now 88 counties in Missouri have contracts to do localized Service Coordination. From the very beginning while at the Center for Human Services it was clear that we were going to a leader in our field and we would do so by hiring the best and brightest. One of the greatest values we seek are individuals with a high degree of integrity. We need to be certain that when our people are in the field that they will perform at the highest level and that doing the right thing is the only option. I can tell you with certainty that in my 28 years of involvement with Service Coordination that we have never had a better line up of people. They not only look after their caseloads but look out for each other as well. It’s an honor to know them and work on their behalf. I wish you could know them all as well.
