Welcome to MPower, an agency developed to meet the Targeted Case Management needs of Individuals with developmental disabilities in Pettis, Saline, Lafayette, and Benton Counties. At MPower, we have dedicated ourselves to providing the highest quality case management services available in Central Missouri. We believe that the individuals we serve deserve an advocate that is highly trained, well-educated on the latest trends and highly motivated to assist people in navigating the intricate systems of State and Federal funding sources and the growing list of qualified providers.
Empowering people to manage the direction of their life.
We are committed to the belief that promoting an individual’s hopes, wants and dreams is the first step to achieving self-determination.
We believe in you, we believe in your hopes, wants, and dreams. We believe that when you are “MPowered” to make your own choices and have the proper supports, then you have the greatest potential for success. It is our pleasure to walk beside you.
MPower is completing a community needs assessment. The survey will help identify the most important needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Pettis County. Your input will guide how local tax levy funds are used to improve services and supports.

As we welcome the month of March, I’m reminded that this season is all about growth, awareness, and renewed connection, values that align closely with the mission of MPower.
March gives us the opportunity to recognize several important awareness efforts that speak directly to the people we serve and the work we do every day.
This month, we honor Women’s History Awareness, recognizing the countless women, past and present, who have shaped our communities, our systems of care, and our advocacy efforts. Many of the individuals, families, and professionals within our network are women whose leadership, resilience, and compassion continue to strengthen our services across the state.
March is also Brain Injury Awareness Month, a time to increase understanding, reduce stigma, and promote support for individuals living with brain injuries. Our commitment to person-centered planning and community-based supports is especially critical for those navigating life after a brain injury, and we remain dedicated to helping individuals access the services and resources they deserve.
We also recognize Reading Awareness, which highlights the importance of literacy at every stage of life. Reading empowers independence, supports lifelong learning, and enhances communication, key elements of meaningful participation in our communities.
In addition, Nutrition Awarenessreminds us that overall wellness includes access to healthy food, education, and informed choices. Proper nutrition supports physical health, mental well-being, and quality of life, and it is an essential part of holistic care coordination.
Finally, March includes the National Day of Unplugging, a gentle reminder to step away from screens, slow down, and reconnect with ourselves, our families, and our communities. I encourage everyone to take a moment to unplug and recharge in whatever way feels most meaningful to you.
Thank you for the dedication, compassion, and professionalism you bring to this work every day. Together, we continue to build stronger, more inclusive communities throughout Missouri.
