Welcome to MPower, an agency developed to meet the Targeted Case Management needs of Individuals with developmental disabilities in Pettis, Saline, Lafayette, and Benton Counties. At MPower, we have dedicated ourselves to providing the highest quality case management services available in Central Missouri. We believe that the individuals we serve deserve an advocate that is highly trained, well-educated on the latest trends and highly motivated to assist people in navigating the intricate systems of State and Federal funding sources and the growing list of qualified providers.
Empowering people to manage the direction of their life.
We are committed to the belief that promoting an individual’s hopes, wants and dreams is the first step to achieving self-determination.
We believe in you, we believe in your hopes, wants, and dreams. We believe that when you are “MPowered” to make your own choices and have the proper supports, then you have the greatest potential for success. It is our pleasure to walk beside you.
MPower is completing a community needs assessment. The survey will help identify the most important needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Pettis County. Your input will guide how local tax levy funds are used to improve services and supports.

As we move into May, I want to take a moment to recognize two important national observances that closely align with the work we do every day, Mental Health Awareness Month and Women’s Health Month.
Mental Health Awareness Month reminds us of the importance of understanding, supporting, and advocating for mental health in our communities. Many of the individuals and families we serve face complex challenges that include behavioral health needs alongside developmental disabilities. Our role as Targeted Case Management providers is not only to coordinate services but also to ensure individuals have access to the supports that promote stability, dignity, and overall well-being. I am continually inspired by the compassion, patience, and professionalism our team demonstrates as we work to connect people with the resources they need to thrive.
May is also Women’s Health Month, which highlights the importance of preventative care, health education, and equitable access to healthcare for women. Women make up a significant portion of both the individuals we support and the professionals who provide that support. This month is a meaningful opportunity to encourage wellness, promote preventative care, and recognize the many contributions women make within our organization and throughout our communities.
As professionals in the human services field, our work requires empathy, resilience, and dedication. Please remember that caring for others also means caring for yourselves. Taking time for your own physical and mental well-being allows you to continue making the difference that our mission calls for each day.
Thank you for your continued commitment to the individuals and families we serve. Your work strengthens our communities and helps ensure that every person we support has the opportunity to live a full and meaningful life.
Warm regards,
Katharine Robershaw
